Namaste, hello, hi, hey, what’s up are a few of my many favorites. This is Mandar Parab from Mumbai, a city of dreams and yet one that never sleeps. Growing up in a big fat happy Indian family has accelerated my emotional, celebratory and cultural side. Probably the reason why I end up having an amazing connection and instant friendship with my clients. We, together, celebrate their celebrations and capture the best moments of life. After studying, learning, exploring and capturing my own country for 5 years, I came to New York in 2016 and did specialization in Documentary Practice and Visual Journalism from International Center of Photography, NY. And since then, I have been mesmerized with this city’s multicultural global crowd and excited to shoot some of NY’s amazing faces.
That’s true. Who wouldn’t love a friendly, super chill, patient guy, one who manages to keep all the involved people happy and light. Also, I love my fab LGBTQ ally.
I love shooting colors, contrast, details and the most beautiful, emotional, unforgettable moments and memories. In terms of style, Documentary and Black & White portraits always intrigue me. I always try to keep the lighting unique, dramatic and badass.
